2026 signee KK Merrell will be graduating early and joining the Patriots for the spring semester.

KK is a 6-foot guard from Daytona, Florida.

I was at the game vs Fla A&M and didn't see a #22 --Komara, Is she still with the team?

Also, for the ring ceremony Trinity Massenberg was wearing civilian clothes. Is she still on the roster?

Is KK Merrell a replacement on the roster for either of these players, or just a simple addition?

1) I assume Massenberg is injured?
2) Roster chart above shows 14 players. I assume Merrell comes in the spring and takes the last scholarship slot, then 3 more slots open up post-graduation.
3) I have no idea about Komara

Komara is injured - she's been sitting on the bench every game with her foot in a boot. Hopefully she's back soon, since I believe she's our best rebounder.

I don't know exactly what's up with Massenburg, but she's still on the official roster on GoMason.com.

The team currently has 14 players and an open roster spot, so there is room for Merrell to join the roster without any departures.

Sounds like progress! Despite not wearing a boot, I think I figured out which one was Komara. Could have used some more height in last night's game.

Having seen her play at the open practice, I believe Komara is our best rebounder.
