Like most, if not ALL of us, I ❤️ Doc and the Green Machine, and they are sooo important to the game experience. However, I'm hoping that they BRING IT with some new material. Not a completely new lineup of songs, but it's at least time to update the playlist. The Peppas have brung it with new tracks over the past few years, time for the Green Machine to step it up.

I did notice that Kanye West becoming "problematic" knocked a bunch of songs out of the Green Machine rotation. Would love to see them weave in some new material.

During the game with Alfredo the dance team sat next to the DJ booth. Perhaps, they along with the cheerleaders are gonna make stuff happen in the student section?

I got an email from the College of Engineering and Computing yesterday. They're hosting a pregame reception with food, drinks, and t-shirts before the Jacksonville game on the 18th for their 40th year anniversary. After the reception everyone walks over to the game.

I believe this is the first time I've received any communication from them about anything to do with athletics. I got one of my old coworkers coming out for the event. Hopefully it draws more nerds out (queue the meme).

I am glad they are having the event. I think School of Business has always done events but I am not sure if it includes tickets. Either way, its good.

I am glad they are having the event. I think School of Business has always done events but I am not sure if it includes tickets. Either way, its good.

They have a big open atrium where they do functions at the Nguyen Engineering Building, so it's a good spot for this. Also, it probably serves as a holding cell for a audience captive who may just come for the freebies and bounce before the game. If they're already on campus they might be more likely to stay for the game. Lastly, I like the idea of visiting the engineering building for nostalgia sake.
