Hi, I'm twinmom, not to be confused with SwimMom...please...for the love of God, no.

Been on the boards since the Zone days, am much better as a lurker than a poster. Had season tix for a long time (and lived in RVA, unfortunately), and moved further away so don't make nearly the number of games I'd like to. Graduated in the late '90s. Consider myself a friend to @Patriotsince81 and sigmanorm. Parent to (most likely) the only toddler twins who ever bellied up to the Brion's bar.

Looking forward to seeing you, Jim, and the kids. I bet they've sprouted like weeds since last year.

I know of one other pair of toddler twins who have done the same :)

What up! N00b here. Sorry I missed the legacy of team stupid. Although, I can imagine what boards look like around a time of suck.

I'm mostly a filthy casual. I hung out with broke nerds during my undergrad (03-05) and never went to a game. During the final four run it was a way to bond with my grandfather who used to coach and was big into college basketball. Over the years it was a way to stay connected. Anyways, that's my story.

I also came back for the data analytics grad program (16-18) if there are any other DAEN heads around.

Hi my name is Patrick Star and I live in Bikini Bottom. All jokes aside, I fell in love with the final four team as a teenager, first time I ever watched college basketball. Joined the boards while I was an undergrad right after we joined the A10. Used to get upset all the time whenever we didn't qualify for March Madness because Coach L spoiled me. Now I'm more of a realist and realized we'll always be a mid major and having a great season is a rarity. I can finally watch the team and accept that we won't be playing deep into March and it changes how I watch the game from an emotional level. I've mentioned before this year's team under Coach Skinn is the most I've enjoyed watching since maybe Marquise Moore was putting up triple doubles.

Hey everyone, I mostly have an account here to like other people’s posts and keep track of what I’ve read. One part of my username is true: I was certainly in the band, but another is false. I actually graduated in 2017. I’m in grad school at another DMV school, but their team still sucks.

I started to go to Mason games with family in the late Larranaga era. I was lucky enough to be a student when the Virus got canned and DP started picking up the pieces for the men. Milleson was mostly forgettable for the women. Being in the band was great, and it gave me a reason to pay attention to all the highs and lows of a mid-major basketball team.

I came here because this was the only place I could find people actually interested in Mason basketball when the Virus was around. Trauma bonding might be part of why I stick around, but it’s not the only reason. I feel confident that Tony Skinn knows what he’s doing, and loves the program enough to see it through.

Hello there - I am your friendly neighborhood PiKappPatri8. Two degrees from Mason, brother of PiKappaPhi fraternity (ZE Chapter) , and a rose-colored glassed fan. I am shy and avoid conflict and controversy. But I loooooove cooking, painting, and book clubs. Show me a great antique store and I will show you a weekend well spent.

My "icks" are drinking, the politics board, bar-fights, tense conversations, swearing, hard liquor, women of questionable morals, guns of any kind, fast cars, money, sports betting, spicy food, over indulgence, GMUTom's wife, GMUBrian, and any woman between the age of 23 and 52.

Welcome to boards!
