How about instead of monitoring an ex-coach we focus on Mason?

Do You think the Providence fans give a rat's behind how Ed Cooley is doing?

It makes us look BUSH LEAGUE to have these "____ Update" threads on not only English but now Paulsen too?!

BYE FELICIA to BOTH ENGLISH AND PAULSEN. LET'S FOCUS ON WHAT WE HAVE IN THE HERE AND NOW DAMN IT.

Enough with the following of old coaches

What can I say. :)

After 4 years of watching Josh go from a pushover 6'9 240 nice kid, to playing in the Big East and watching Ticket who was so fun here, go and seek a big opportunity, I can't not root for that. Also Justyn whenever he hits the floor again, kid was an absolute stud once he put a few things together in the 2nd half of last year.

And yeah, I knew Kim wouldn't last forever or very long. But I knew that he gave us his all, and I was hopeful he would lead us to Tony. Which it did. So I wish them well and that is that.

Fun/ silly fact, I had a running joke with several friends (many of which on here who heard me/got texts that said this), that the "master plan" was always Kim coaching Mason for a few years, leading us to the NCAAs and us hiring Tony once he departed. We didn't get NCAAs but we got Tony so that is good.
Kim had nothing to do with us getting Tony so stop that. CKE was here for two years and accomplished absolutely nothing. Reason I root for Dave is that you knew he cared about Mason and put everything he had into it. I can’t say the same thing about CKE as he was just using this as a stepping stone to something bigger.

I appreciate all the good will, charity, and efforts at being "nice", but its making me uncomfortable, edgy, and a bit angry. I am glad these guys are doing well but they left us. That is like being happy your ex-girlfriend is now banging a 30 year old billionaire.

We need to be less like this in our feelings:

And more like this:

"Junior Bryce Hopkins (Oak Park, Ill.) scored 25 points, grabbed 19 rebounds, and added three assists. This marked Hopkin's 13th career double-double. Josh Oduro (Gainesville, Va.) finished with a season-high 29 points, seven rebounds, and one assist. The Friars improved to 5-1 overall record on the season.

'The crowd was great tonight, I thought the fans were awesome,' Head Coach Kim English said. 'It was a win for us against a team that we have a ton of respect for that will be a tough out this season.'"
