Given my past comments, I feel compelled to compliment Riley for his play in this game. This was by far his most active game on defense in A10 play. He's had comparable games on offense, but his defensive lapses have overshadowed his o, particularly since the vcu win. Yesterday, he was a different player. He was stopping drives, trying to block shots, clearing the lane, and aggressively going after the ball. He was finally in there banging with the big boys, and making the little guys pay for a visit to the paint.

Tony said they had scuffles in practice leading up to this game. If so, whoever was fighting with Riley needs keep doing it in every practice for the rest of the year.

Agreed. Homeboy showed some toughness and tried to take it to their bigs when he had a chance. Need everyone to play hard and with heart and close this out

The Thumb Heard across the A10.....may it never be spoken of.....Kory needs to score more than 6pts for us to ascend. With Hill out, its a must. Same with Trout and Long. Like Tom has said, they can't play a combined 108 mins and score 12 pts total.

Yep. We got 38 points out of our 3 top guards which is better. Also, taking out Mincy’s 1-5, they shot the ball much better too (Troutman and Long combined for 7-13 from 3).

With Hill out, Booker and Sivka are going to have to also step up and produce, since they will be the beneficiary of most of his minutes (probably—maybe Adebayo if he’s having one of his better games). Only 4 points from those two (9 total bench points, which isn’t enough).

LOL! What a flashback. I remember in high school taking girls to the staircase in Georgetown late at night to scare the he$$ out of them.
