Thoughts: The Bonnies had a nice win tonight against Duquesne. Do not take them lightly.

St. Bonaventure was 11-2 in the OOC portion of their schedule but are just 2-6 in A10 play. Three of their conference losses are by 4 points each. Their struggles in A10 play are a bit confusing because their starting 5 is very experienced and they have a great one-two combo in Mitchell and Simmons II. Common sense says if we limit Mitchell (2nd in the A10 in scoring), Simmons II (9th in scoring), and Charles our chances of walking out with a win increase. Mitchell also leads the A10 in rebounding. Dasonte Bowen leads the A10 in assist to turnover ratio. They have the weapons and experience to compete, I hope their struggles continue. Hoping for a win. Go Mason!

I'm beginning to think kenpom Is a joke, when we win we move up one or two , lose and we drop 7-8 spots. We beat GW and vcu and they are well ahead of us in the rankings. I understand they are all about the metrics, we are not blowing teams out of the water and our efficiency is average but, shouldn't the eye test and wins over other teams count more. Rankings really need to get back to the basics, a win over a team is more important than some stupid math formula.
