In a more structured system he could do fine.

That's a gift for us. He may be a nice guy, etc., but he can't play in the A-10 or any league that even remotely resembles the competition in this league. I am praying for a real PG for this scholarship, i.e., one that can handle the ball, pass, AND score. Can we get Jason Miskiri to come back? Mason has had SO SO many PGs who were one dimensional. Can't we ever find the PG we all dream of having run this team?

Junkees, I'm really starting to wonder how many of those PGs there are like that out there. It's so tough to find kids who can handle, shoot and distribute, especially early in their career. Maybe the solution is a point-forward, kind of like the way we used Folarin and Jon Larranaga.

Already got a point forward. His name is Isaiah Jackson. But the concern is he may be too slow to defend A10 level guards.

I'm not worried about I-Jax's quickness on the defensive end. I caught a game of his at The Villages a couple of months ago and he had no issues staying in front of a slick NYC Point Guard named Morty. Morty may have lost a step or three, but he was the quickest 73 year old I've ever seen.

Tom is right...the PGs out there that are a "known" package...are all heading to the big programs.

It's finding the Luke Hancocks of the world, "the unknowns" that everyone is hoping to land....

I thought it was Jack Klompus, not Morty Seinfeld, who was the point guard he was guarding.

While we're obviously disappointed with team performance during the Hewitt era, it's good to see players graduating on schedule.

Not only graduated, but kept out of trouble, gave full effort and didn't openly sulk when he lost playing time.

Hope the young man goes on to bigger and better things in life and see no need to rip on him. If his skill set wasn't up to the challenge, then it's the fault of the coaches for incorrectly evaluating him, not this player for giving half-hearted effort.

I don't think any of the Big East basketball programs are going to invite him back in. I wish him the best though. I think the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference would be a good fit for him. Pretty much all New York and New Jersey schools.

I think Anali was always in " tries to hard / too excited" mode everytime he stepped on the floor. It is hard to play the game this way when you are far from a dominant player. He needed to save some of that hustle for thinking while he was out there. Doubt it would have helped enough but he probably would have played much better.

I am not doing the research to see if this is possible, but I have a feeling he will end up at Hofstra.
