A Missed Opportunity?

When I watched Mason women's basketball team this season , it's evident that there are basically 2 head coaches on the team: Nyla Milleson & Tajama Abraham Ngongba (Nsilo Abraham's sister), the former Radford coach.

Would Coach Hewitt have benefited by filling his coaching vacancy during the offseason by hiring a strong X's & O's guy, particularly a former head coach. Now, I know that his former assistant Dean Keener isn't interested in returning to coaching, but did he miss an excellent opportunity in hiring someone like Keener?

I think we could definitely use a "defensive coordinator" type on this team. The offense (minus missing easy shots and turning the ball over uselessly) seems fine to me. The defensive scheme seems broken.
