3-Point Field Goal Shooting in A10 Games

Mason is currently #1 in 3-pt. FG% in conference play at 42.0% (Dayton is second at 36.8%). Individually, Patrick Holloway is 5th (43.9%), Bryon Allen is 6th (42.0%), & Sherrod Wright is tied for 11th (40.0%).

Interestingly, Mason has the least number of 3-pt. FGA's in conference games (143 in 11 games). Should Mason's offense be designed to maximize 3-pt. FG scoring?

Absolutely. Lots of teams are also not afraid to shoot the three 1 or 2 feet behind the line, and guys like PH, Wright, Allen and Gray shouldn't be afraid to do the same. Increased 3pt shooting will also open up room for our bigs to operate down low.

You would think one of the assistants would know this, and knock some sense into Hewitt.

thanks for sharing
so much to extrapolate from these numbers

the good :cigar:
1) Quick look at the numbers and they indicate that we should have A LOT better record then what we got; #2 avg scoring offensive behind vcu
2) Our offensive numbers look good
3) #1 in 3pt %, #2 in FT%
4) #2 in PF at 818 behind vcu at 835

the bad :vomit:
1) We have no defensive
2) Last in conference in turnover margin
3) 2nd (to last) in PA at 869 only ahead of Fordham at 880
4) Doing poorly in the standings category
