Towards the last few min, I saw Stas come in. I thought why? Then he dropped a dime to Mincy on a backdoor cut. I remembered this kid knows the offense better than everyone combined. He's been in a shooting slump lately, but if he makes more of those shots, he is high IQ contributor. Just gotta hit those open treys.
Even a blind squirrel finds a nut from time to time. I like Stas and think he has potential, but thinking tony put him in for that…not buying.

Not going to happen. Last post-game presser, when asked about changing the starting lineup, he said, in effect, "We're not going hurt anyone's feelings and have discord in the locker room by changing things up."

I know Tony is watching Stas. Please take him out for Kangay

Stas is one of the highest IQ players on the team and is a good passer.

Also, Stas plays the 4.
Allenspach, Ellington and Kanga play the 5.
If Stas has to play the 5, he isn't good. If Ellington or Kanga have to play the 4 they aren't good.

A big portion of the comeback happened with Stas at the 4 and Allenspach at the 5. Also, Presley came in and hit a clutch 3 and played solid defense down the stretch.

Tony knows what he is doing.

I’m still not sure how we won that game, especially since we had zero answer for Mitchell other than fouling him and praying he missed his FTs. Riley obviously struggled with covering him and nursing the injury, but Mitchell also exploited Ellington and Kanga. Dude is an absolute beast in the post.

We’re not going to win many games when Mincy and Fatt are so careless with the ball (6 and 3 turnovers, respectively), but it was also their clutch plays along with Long’s that enabled us to steal this one on the road.

We lucked out - but primarily because we were sloppy and did not play up to usual standards. SB planned for this game well and we were flustered. Im going to count the three decades of the Rosary I prayed to keep me from losing my mind.

We need to be tight here on out or we will Peter out quick

Holy cow! Can't say enough about the win....... It was ugly and a tad stressful. LOL.

Congratulations to coach Tony Skinn! With the win tonight he became the first coach in program history to have 3 consecutive 20 win seasons.

His three 20 win seasons is 2nd only to Coach L's five 20+ win seasons. His overall winning percentage of .742 is far and away the best in school history.

Mincy is normally a lot more careful with the ball. A little bit of an off game for Mincy in terms of ball security
