Any word on Polite?

Not that I've heard, but English was obviously pissed in his press conference when he referenced Polite's injury — going as far as to say he wished Polite had communicated to him that he was hurt and detailing his minus-rating on the court in the few minutes he played.

He called out Cooper without saying his name too, for that errant pass behind Schwartz in the first half where he left his feet. And that was a play he circled back to after saying "there are no careless turnovers..." no...wait, THAT one!

But he also tried to build up XJ and Gaines.

Thinking about making the trip up for this. I've been to the last few games at La Salle -- always fun even in their little middle school gym on top of the pool. I really just want to see the neon L and smoke machine they use for intros in person.

The people I have come into contact with so far are super nice, but, damn, if this isn’t one of the nastiest torn up parts of town I have ever been in.

Had to raise the air suspension on the SUV to keep from bottoming out in the crater sized potholes every 10 feet.

I by no means want to make light of a head injury, but I have to admit I was almost relieved to hear he wasn't out because of the knee. Both injuries can linger, but a few more days to rest his knee is not the worst thing in the world, especially if we can steal a win with him out today.
