As much respect as I have for Pat Skerry as a coach, it just went up exponentially for him as a person after reading the article below in today's Post.
Pat and his wife have a 4-year-old son who has been diagnosed with Autism, a social disorder that makes parenting infinitely more challenging than it already is. The couple decided to turn their life into an opportunity to educate others and spread awareness — including coaches throughout the country wearing pins on a specific day as a sign of solidarity.
