This week's poll has UMD at #10, Dayton all the way up to #15, and in the RV category UMass at #26, and Mason at #30.

With a win or tie at vcu (Q2 opponent) this saturday, we will clinch the regular season championship/#1 seed in A10 Tournament. Top 6 teams in conference are all top 50 rpi, but the 8th seed is likely to be a mediocre team.

Setting up nicely for us to have a very winnable 1st round game, then two top 50 opponents in semi's and finals to either build the resume or provide an ok loss.

I would think that a victory this weekend wraps up at at-large. We've been in and out of the rankings for a while now. I don't think a conference tourney loss will torpedo a bid unless it's a real stinker to a bad team.

I would hope so too - just not familiar with bubble watch for NCAA soccer and how comfortable we should feel.

Updated standings after Dayton's win over vcu last night (make up game, so now all teams are even in games played and everyone has one remaining conference game this Saturday).

Obviously we want the #1 seed and it would be best to have Dayton (likely the best team in the conference) finish 2 or 3 so we wouldn't see them until championship - they play at home vs SLU on Saturday, with Duquesne at home vs Fordham. Mason plays at vcu.

Dayton win clinches them 2nd or 3rd.

Just don't drop a clanger to vcu and I think we'll be ok. Win this and the first round of A10 and I think it's pretty much a lock.

Must win against LaSalle, as they are terrible.

Bracket has shaped up perfectly for Mason to put themselves in a position for at large because they wouldn't have a bad loss in the semi's or finals/have a chance for another quality win in the semi's.

Also guaranteed to not face Dayton until finals.

Win the whole thing and they have a shot to get a top 16 seed in national tournament that brings with it a first-round bye and hosting the 2nd round game.

La Salle starting stuff now. A bench player just got red carded and another one got a yellow trying to start some stuff after they gave a hard foul. 89th minute. Still 2-0 Mason.

And now a Mason player is down in the box. Shoving and pushing going on.
