In addition to the other threads, this needs its own. Thank you Jalen, for being the lone bright spot for many of us fans. We appreciate your talent and what you bring to our team and are pretty much the one thing to look forward to on the court when we watch GMU play.

Seriously! He might end up getting so many ROW honors that he may end up on the All A-10 Second Team as a Freshman. I am so glad he has already used his reshirt year so there may be less of a chance he transfers.

I'm pretty that was a pre-season All-A10 First Team spot, which now sounds absolutely ludicrous.

Jalen is simply a man-child out there. I wish, for the love of all that is good, his attitude and approach would rub off on his teammates, and his pathetic coach.

Combination of skill, athleticism and desire has him in a good position for first team all-rookie if not rookie of the year (although the kid from Fordham is throwing out some high scoring stats--20.2 pts. per game). He is truly deserving of the recent recognition he is receiving around the league.

Jon Severe is scoring a lot of points because he's throwing up a ton of shots (think of a young Devon Saddler). He can't be having too many 4-22 shooting nights if he wants to win ROTY. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out.

JJ is Hewitt's guy all the way for all you Hewitt Haters out there. Right now, Hewitt guys over L's. The future isn't as bleak as it may seem.

Its the only glimmer of hope that any of us have, at this point. But I certainly agree that if the recruits can play and have the mentality like JJ, the future may not be as bad.

Jenkins is the only Hewitt recruit that is doing anything (keep in mind Hewitts one positive was recruiting). Also the other 2-3 key players are still Coach Ls players.....so Im not sure what you are trying to say or really trying to get across.

If the incoming guys are just as talented, obviously its a good thing but time will tell..... because Jenkins cant do it all himself...nor is he a pg.

I'd take Hewitt's guys over L's old guys right now. Sherrod gets lost too many times, BA thinks he's playing soccer, and Johnny has the motor that's missing the spark plugs.
