I hate that the simple minded rural people that cling to Jesus even brought their band and cheer team. I hate that we haven’t accomplished much since 2006 yet they still roll out that video clip of the final four. I hate that my attempts at organizing or trying to build more support are ridiculed. Damn it all.

Liberty has had a lot wrong with it. I know. I lived for 11 years in it's shadow. Several of the youth in my church attended there, and one of the professors was our primary care physician. It is not without sin. Far from it. I have been both angry and embarrassed by LU.
But the vast majority of it's student population and professors are not country, ignorant, Jesus clingers, or Bible thumpers.
But the ignorance shown by the original poster was religious bigotry at it's worst.
Perhaps that person should reflect on why he has such animosity toward an institution he obviously knows so little/nothing about.
