Can't win without a PG. Also wonder why Polite left then? Dinkins is long gone right? Can't imagine he's a solution anyway. Maybe go get someone at a d2 or d3 school or something with some experience. 18 year old kid passed up by majors isn't going to do much of anything in year 1 in A10 and if he does, he leaves.
I mean VT ain't good at hoops so not really shocking. When ACC dies they may never be heard from again in the sport. Realize they are still a power 5 so yeah it happens to even low level power 5's

Not to be a jerk, but at what point do mid-majors start negatively recruiting with horror stories of guys leaving, not getting the NIL they were told they were getting and then being tossed by the wasteside? Not that most won't have the "it won't happen to me" attitude, but that story has to be told at some point.
Baraka can't even get NIL money since he's Canadian.
Need the media to do its job and actually start shining some light on this stuff rather than the random vague tweets.

I do think we're about a year away from the NIL expose...Somebody with some ambition will definitely write the story.
Sigh. Time go back to D3 and just play games in the RAC. At least we'd be rooting for kids who play for the love of the game and we'd get to watch kids for 4 years. At this point Justin Begg had better be ready to start on day one.

this is the final straw to break the camels back. I think my time and money may need to go elsewhere over the winter months. my family might enjoy me at home more often.
Yep, so he can get a big bag from Providence the year after. LOL.
I guess my point is, VA Tech has tons of big time donors and old school money and even they can't compete to keep their own guys. How in the world are we supposed to compete? Just won't work from an economics perspective and I wouldn't blame people if those outside of athletics are just like "What are we even doing here?"
Maybe we can join the ivy league?
I was exaggerating, but make no mistake doubt they find a good one. It's been 10+ years since they even got even a decent PG.
