I went. Nice event. great food.

Went. Great time. Wish more alumni would step up and host more events like this. We need to really keep the pedal down on NIL fundraising.

Few takeaways:

Jaylen Haynes is a mountain of a man.... he's gonna be a problem for A-10 bigs. Gio is also towering.

Darius Maddox seems to be the leader and captain of the team, gave a nice speech thanking everyone.

Justin Begg looks like he is 15 lol. Gonna have to hit the weight room.

New walk-on kid... white kid whom I didn't seem to catch his name.... few people didn't know who he was either but he was with the team and introduced himself with the players.

Talked with Katie Pate a while - Seems Mason is giving her a team to go out and attack fundraising and donations. She just hired a new Patriot Club leader and is right under her, named Myles. He comes from Vanderbilt and has only been here 3 weeks.... he is well put together and seems to have a lot of experience across different conferences. Katie is looking to hire 2 more people to complete her fundraising team - seems they are planning to have a precise tiered level plan where these people will go after alumni and companies based off company size/revenue. Myles already heard about how much we hate vcu so glad he is getting a proper Mason education.

GMUBrian has a new toy that's simply fire.
