Season starts in late August and runs thru December

I see 6 OOC matches that I hope to attend in August and September

Team graduates 4 but brings in 4 freshman and 1 transfer
1 of the freshmen is a daughter of a Class of 95 GMU player - so a few of you probably know her

Hoping the squad takes a big jump this season, as the Head Coach has multiple National Championship (3x) as a player

I believe that matches are still free this season, great family entertainment

Last Season Dayton was the dominant A-10 team - making it all the way to the Sweet 16

Loyola-Chicago actually won the A-10 and received the auto bid and scored an upset to win their first ever NCAA Tourney game.

I have not seen any A-10 team analysis on this season - yet.

Coppin or Howard usually win the MEAC and face the 1-4 seed that is located in the East. They have 1 or 2 solid American players but many schools in the MEAC have developed an international pipeline and will have starters from Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Hungary, Dominican Republic, and others.

I was at the Delaware State vs American University match last week and Delaware State had starters from Portugal and Hungary.

"WASHINGTON, D.C. - Two George Mason women's volleyball players have been named Atlantic 10 Players of the week. Junior middle blocker Chelsea Colter was named the Defensive Player of the Week and freshman outside hitter Kiera Hamilton was named the Rookie of the Week. The Patriots went 2-0 over the Saint Louis Billikens in their opening weekend of conference play.

Colter had a standout defensive performance against the Billikens. She finished the weekend with 20 total blocks, including a career-high 15 block performance on Friday vs. Saint Louis. Following up the next day with five more blocks, Colter averaged 2.86 blocks, 2.0 kills, and 3.64 points per set over the Patriots 7 sets this weekend. She also leads the A-10 in blocks in conference play.

Hamilton was named a starter at the beginning of the season, and the freshman hasn't missed a step. Averaging 4.14 kills at a .269%, 1.86 digs, and 1.0 blocks per set over the weekend, Hamilton was a huge offensive firepower in the two wins over Saint Louis. Her 19 kills and 11 digs on Friday was her eighth double-double of the season so far. She currently leads the A-10 in points in conference play, and is second in kills.

This is the first time since 2018 that the Patriots have had two players named A-10 honorees in the same week. The last two players were Bailey Williams (offensive) and Catie Espinoza (defensive)."
