A-10 folks are gonna keep sleeping on Mason until the team finally gives them a reason to do otherwise. Hopefully that happens this season.

Well, from my view, at least George Mason's logo is legible. Richmond's logo looks like "Boris the Spider"—you know... as the song goes? *SPLAT!*

You know what? We should get the Green Machine to play that tune during the Richmond game.

I know nothing, but, I am totally hoping SLU nosedives since I am tired of everyone predicting them to go from the bottom to the top and I can stomach the thought of that quick of a turnaround for them.

It’s all based on Avila being an all-American candidate. If he’s not that good they won’t be anywhere near the top.

From what I understand he’s like Grant Golden but better. He’s going to be a massive PITA to play against.

My hot take of the season is that they will be middle of the pack. I’m not a believer that Avila is the real deal and I think he’ll struggle having to guard more athletic A10 big men night in night out. They might end up shooting 100 3s a night though, will be entertaining to watch offensively.

This will probably age like a dog turd in the desert.

SLU is gonna be a handful offensively, but Schertz’s teams weren’t great on defense in the MVC and as noted Avila is gonna have to guard more athletic bigs in the A-10. Expect them to be in lots of high-scoring games.
