Softball is off to a 4-2 A-10 start. Aly Rayle is really pitching well. Team has not been hitting great but was able to win on Sunday 1-0 to take the series from Rhode Island.

Yes - they look like they have a legit chance to win first A10 championship (aside from T&F) in what seems like a long time

Women's softball starts their A10 tournament tomorrow, Wednesday 5/10 at noon vs Fordham. Mason is 4 seed playing the 5 seed, winner to play #1 SLU at Noon Thursday 5/11. All games on ESPN+, bracket is a double elimination format.

Mason’s Aly Rayle, A10 pitcher of the year, has struck out 11 of 13 batters faced and just gave up first hit in 4th inning. Mason up 1-0 going to bottom of 4th, on Espn+.

Mason advances to semifinals of winners bracket with 5-2 win over #1 seed SLU. Aly Rayle with another complete game gem, after striking out 18 batters yesterday.

Mason will play the winner of #3 seed Dayton/#2 seed Loyola-Chicago tomorrow, Friday, at 12pm. No idea if softball pitchers can pitch 3 days in a row, or if Rayle will need a day off after pitching back to back days, but Mason has other good pitchers.

Mason lost 2 out of 3 @ Dayton, and won 2 out of 3 at home vs Loyola Chicago, this season. All of those losses were by 1 run.
