Toledo is a home and home.

Everything else was a buy or neutral. Also, ODU series concluded.

Look for our usual 3-4 snooze fest buy games, maybe 1-2 more home and home series, we get bought for a game, and our usual MTE. Roughly.

Last I knew 5 players made a team.

Except for that 1 time the Russian Jr National team beat us with only 4.

Mason official site has the '23-24 roster page live. Shows nine players on the roster, however we know some are as good as gone, and some are walk-ons.

I wonder, however, if they know something we do not, as they do not have Austin Ball listed on the page?

He probably can't be listed until he is enrolled.

Renewals are usually anywhere from February to April in announcement. My guess is they waited until they announced a coach for this go round.

Really doesn’t matter because it’s not like we won’t have a team. But I get your point when we have no idea who will be on it.

Non-bracketed games are a thing of the past, the NCAA changed the rules in 2022. You get to schedule 31 games if you play in an MTE, no matter if the MTE is 2 games or 4 games.

No war here. I usually don't know the ins and outs as well as @MasonFanatic .

A bit of a meh lineup of teams there. Hopefully the 4th team is one who finished closer to top 50 as Q1 opportunities are few and far between.

If we had played these teams at a neutral site last season, UCF would be a Q2 and Charlotte would be a Q3 game.

And we’d have been a Q3 game for the other teams.

I say this because last season we had 6 teams with 20+ win seasons and only 1 team with even an outside shot at an at-large bid. Two teams in our top 4 were barely top 100 (one had an NET rating similar to ours ) we can’t have that next season.

Unfortunately, you typically end up in MTEs with your peers (unless you are the token punching bag), so if you are 140 in the NET one year, you may end up with other 140ish teams the next year.
