Good question. I suspect it’s probably a “find job it reduces buyout” situation from his contract.

Saw Kim made the trip to see Malik Henry graduate and get his masters. I think every kid he coached here at Mason he has now made sure to be there to see them graduate and of course he's the godfather of Josh's first kid. I know it doesn't fit the narrative but it's a little silly to suggest he didn't care about the kids he coached.

Kim the man I can separate from Kim the Coach. Two different characters in my view. I consider him a good person.

I don't think anybody here said that Kimmie didn't care about the kids he coached. I mean he gave a lot of players chances, especially at Providence, that most coaches would not have.

The problem is that he is too immature to succeed as a head coach of a major university, if even a minor one. Maybe he should go re-start and hone his skills in the high school ranks and then try to move back up. Either that or stick it out as an assistant somewhere.

This is misleading. He wasn't paid 3 million to leave. That number was not published by PC. All we know is he got around 3 million per year for the years he did coach. What he got to leave is pure speculation at this point.

My personal take on Kimmie is he is a very good guy. He even brought his Daughters to Vanessa Blair Lewis BBALL camp. He is living in DC area and could of taken his girls anywhere, but chose Mason. He is thoughtful and always takes time to converse with people.
