When I see him hug McKay before the game I think he might have a special relationship here and wants to be comfortable here.

As long as she does NOT smother him like what happened to Otis Livingston, then all will be juuuuuust fine.

Glad to hear that, but still waiting for the first announcement of an unsuccessful surgery lol
From the Washington post:

“In what team officials are calling “a bold new direction in hand-based athletics,” sophomore basketball standout Kory Mincy underwent routine surgery this week following a minor on-court injury—only to return with two thumbs on his right hand and, for reasons still unclear, all of his pinkies relocated to the left.

“It’s not what we expected,” admitted head coach Tony Skinn, pausing mid-sentence as Mincy demonstrated a firm but deeply unsettling double-thumb thumbs-up. “But you can’t teach versatility like that.”

Team doctors insist the procedure was “technically successful,” though they declined to explain how a sprained finger resulted in what one anonymous nurse described as “a full organizational reshuffle.” Lead surgeon Dr. Alan Pierce reassured reporters: “From a medical standpoint, everything is where it is. Whether that’s where it should be is more of a philosophical question.”

Mincy, for his part, remains optimistic. “Ball control feels amazing,” he said, effortlessly palming two basketballs at once with his reinforced right hand. “Shooting is… different,” he added, as his left hand struggled to decide which of its multiple pinkies should participate.

Opposing coaches have already expressed concern. “There’s nothing in the rulebook about double thumbs,” said one rival assistant. “We checked.”

The NCAA has announced it will form a committee to determine whether Mincy’s new configuration constitutes an unfair advantage, a clerical error, or “something we simply choose not to look directly at.”

Meanwhile, Mincy fans are eager to see if his unique anatomy will translate into improved performance—or at the very least, the most confusing free-throw routine in college basketball history.”
