Well, it's good that GW finally settled on a new nickname. HUH-ZAH! Now Mason will be the ONLY team known as the Colonials. Phwew... finally the confusion ends.

And, in other news, GW is moving to the Colonial Athletic Association. I wish they would have joined us in the Patriot League. Woulda made a fantastic local in-conference rivalry.

All right--that's fair. Revolutionaries is such a tongue twister, so I am curious to see how it catches on. I did like the idea of Hippos. It's fun and different and well made for chants.

FWIW, at least when I went to games at the Smith Center they would have a dance and chant "Gee Dub" so my suspicion is that will continue.
