I have long had an erection at the thought of Polite, both Johnsons, Kolek in the house. Assuming Texas dude is good...just one more scoring forward or big man and I like the future...a lot.

I feel like, as obvious as the joke is, it would be irresponsible not to make a "Jollay, if your erection is lasting more than 4 hours you are supposed to stop taking the pill and call your doctor" comment here.

If they get the hire right, I’m totally fine with missing out on any player that leaves or doesn’t walk through the door.
Would CJ Jackson have changed the fate of Hewitt? Doubtful. And then he’d just transfer anyway after Hewitt was fired.

hate playing the game of what if...but what if they kept Hewitt for one more year....Isaiah Jackson would've been a certifiable stud here, CJ Jackson and JR Gilbert would've come, Trey Porter would've had a year in the weight room, Eric Lockett would've been back after an injury-plagued freshman season...and Copes and Holloway were still around
I don’t think that talent was any of Hewitt teams’ problem.

George Evans and Terrance Nixon who were signed by Paul Westhead.
Things have changed a wee bit over the past 20-plus years.

So, why are recruits so different now? If they like the school, players, and the new coach as Terrance Nixon did back in 1997, why wouldn't they honor their commitment (particularly a local kid who wants to play close to home)?

Dude, people better recognize Polite is going to make all other basketball players obsolete.
I sure hope so. We need a stud with a chip on his shoulder in this program. I'm gun shy at this point though. JDS averaged 28 his senior year. He hasn't exactly set the world on fire.
