On the topic of Women's basketball, I have had a chance to meet coach Milleson a couple times already and see her and the players interact (in a non-game environment). I have been impressed with her based on what I have seen so far.

Hopefully it translates into a quality product on the basketball floor.

In Mason's 82-64 victory over Utah Valley last night, Janaa Pickard had a career-high 21 points, a career-high and Patriot Center record 21 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocked shots, & 0 turnovers in 30 minutes. The previous Patriot Center record of 18 rebounds was held by Gretchen Lacey vs. Fairfield on 1/4/95

Mason played very well the entire game. They had control the entire game. In the first half they were raining down three pointers like it was going out of style. It was a great performance by the lady Patriots. Hopefully it is a sign of things to come.
