very much so. Amazing how within two weeks he can land a 4star player yet in all of Dave’s time he could never land anything close to this level of talent. Need to know how to coach well and recruit well (sounds so simple) but so far English is on fire. Excited on what is to come for this team as they pivot from the bottom..
I think you missed my point. The fact that he was a four star means nothing. The fact that he shot 40% from 3 means everything.
Transfer's high school recruiting rankings should be entirely disregarded, as they are a piss-poor substitute for what really matters: what kind of college player they are.
The best way to tell what kind of college player somebody is likely to be is what kind of college player they have been, not what they did several years in the past. Shwartz has been a good shooter in college with good size. That means he's likely to be a good shooter with good size for us.
That's a big win, but it has nothing to do with his H.S. stars. Stars are useful for evaluating H.S. players, that's it.
