George Mason Bolsters Sideline with Veteran Assistant

I can confirm that Serge Clement is no longer an assistant at George Mason, and has been replaced by Andy Fox. Last season was Clement’s first at GMU following a three year stint at Hofstra. Fox spent last season as an assistant at Army, and was on the Vanderbilt staff for five seasons before that. He has also been an assistant at Louisiana Tech, Tulane, and The Citadel.

Looks like Fox would have overlapped with Malik Presley at Vandy when Fox was the Associate HC there.

Just to be clear- nothing has been confirmed by the team and Serge is still on the website as it stands.

However, Fox has three years of overlap with Tony from Louisiana Tech and his connection to Vanderbilt would explain how we were able to get Presley over here so quickly.

Talked to some people and can confirm that Clement is gone and apparently has been for a while and that Fox is indeed the new assistant. So welcome Coach Fox officially!
