So, if we were going to do retroactive relegations with the past seasons we've had, we would probably be down to the BRYC soccer level? In Europe the professional leagues are tiered and teams can be promoted up a tier or relegated down.
So in England it goes:
Tier 1: Premier
Tier 2: Championship
Tier3: League One
Tier 4: League Two
and so on down the line
How does relegation work in the Soccer League?Relegated?
Thanks for the info guys (seriously, good stuuf), but I really was just trying to take a humorous jab at phoenix-arizona saying "regulated" instead of "relegated." Thanks jessej for getting it, and a-p for taking it good naturedly! How does relegation work in the Soccer League?
- Relegation in soccer is when a football team falls to a lower league from their current one. Teams will be “relegated” if the teams finish the league at the lowest spot of the rankings. The relegated teams will begin the next season from a lower division.
