The game is on ESPN+.

New Hampshire plays D3 Emmanuel College Wednesday night at 7PM. I’ll update records and stats on Thursday morning.

Preseason notes:
New Hampshire is a member of the America East Conference.
They were picked to finish dead last in the 9 team league.

KenPom: Gives us a 98% chance of winning.
GMU - 88
New Hampshire - 358 out of 365
NET: rankings begin in December
Mason -
New Hampshire-

New Hampshire is currently 1-2 on the season. They are 1-0 at home and 0-2 on the road.

Probable Starters:
6’3” KiJan Robinson - 13.7 ppg - Junior
6’3” Jack Graham - 11.0 ppg - Junior
6’8” Belal El Shakery - 10.3 ppg & 8.7 reb - Junior
6’8” John Squire - 5.0 ppg & 6.0 reb - Sophomore

6’10” Giannos Xanthopoulos - 5.0 ppg - Freshman
6’1” RJ Kennedy - 8.3 ppg - Freshman

Team Stats:
New Hampshire averages 75.3 points per game while giving up 68.3.

The Wildcats shoot 41.8% from the floor and 32.6% from 3.
Opponents are shooting 39.8% from the field and 32.1% from 3.

The Wildcats shoot 71.0% from the free throw line.

They have out rebounded opponents by 5.7 boards per game and average 12.3 turnovers per contest.

Thoughts: It’s pretty hard to get a KenPom rating of 358. If you believe in that type of thing then New Hampshire is one of the weakest D1 teams around this year. Two losses against D1 teams by a combined 61 points hints at how bad they are. That being said, we are really going through some growing pains right now. What should be a 20-30 point win will most likely be closer than necessary. We have time to grow and injuries have not helped but it's time to step up and deliver.

Discuss.

Key WVB weekend series
both GMU and L-C are tied for 2nd place in the league
Saturday is the last match of regular season
Fan base must choose one or the other
Match is likely to be close and has potential for a long 5 set match
(I believe i am going to the WVB match- unless i can find a $5 Men's BBall Ticket)

Why is the start time the same time as Men's BBall?
Why wasn't this match moved to a Noon start time or the Men's BBall moved to a 4 pm start time, or both?
I believe this has happened at least 3 times this WVB season - starting with Mason Madness.

GMU should bring this up with the A-10 League office to prevent same time scheduling starting the Friday of Mason Madness, during Men's BBall season. This should be the case for all WVB A-10 programs.

And the Men's BBall team can do a better job of cross promoting the same day WVB matches.

When I was at the College of Charleston I remember the bookstore had fun shirts:

''College of Charleston Football, undefeated since 1923''. That was the year they dropped their football program.

''College of Charleston Girls, Best in the World''
