John Giannini was on the 3 Bid League podcast this week and he mentioned that the A10, if we were still under the RPI system, has 2 near lock teams (SLU and vcu) and two bubble teams (Dayton and GMU).

You also can’t tell me GMU’s 37 RPI last year wouldn’t have gotten them into such an otherwise weak field last season, even losing to vcu in the Final.

I think the A10 commissioner should be studying the MWC scheduling scheme that gets them such benefit in the NET (and granted the top of their conference is very good regardless), because they have adjusted to the new landscape and we have not.
