Agreed - 31-0 regular season has to be a default entry into NCAAT.
VT not going to play in the NIT even if get invited
Is it really health-related ? Maybe portal considerations---when does the portal open? After NCAA championship game or earlier?
Health related. 2 of their starters are hurt or on game minute limits. Big chance both of those guys come back to VT next year and be their center pieces so the risk / reward for this tournament just doesn't make sense to play in it in their eyes.
