The idea that a donor may know more than AD is disturbing.
Why? It’s her money we are using to pay these guys. I would guess Brian would know more too.

This is a rhetorical comment.
Mason opted into the house settlement agreement which means the university can directly pay the entire roster. Staff members like Andy Foxx have prior experience as a General Manager for Vanderbilt.
Lewis should have an approximate idea of the amount of money earmarked or projected for next year's roster.
The portal opens in about 10-11 weeks.

It is the most Mason thing ever to be focusing so intently on infrastructure upgrades at a time when recruiting has never been less driven by quality of facilities and amenities.
Every dollar not already spoken for needs to be allocated for rev share/NIL. Like it or not, talent acquisition and retention today is all about putting bucks in the players’ pockets — if we continue to significantly underspend the top A-10 teams in this regard, it won’t matter how nice the practice facility is.

Agreed, they can stay at the ritz if environment is that important…on their dime.
Jesus intro lady..... know who you are introducing and their freaking proper job titles! People work hard over their careers to earn their positions and job title and it shows professionalism and respect to refer to them and their job titles correctly.
She even says she has seen his presentation a couple times yet can't remember his title. C'mon lady!!!

While I agree it’s a Mason way to be 10 years behind and opposite current trends, we are sorely behind enough that we need infrastructure and NIL to compliment each other with focus. When our buildings are 40 years old and we don’t have a central building for offices, that’s very basic to me. I’ll believe this new building when I see it; but it’s sorely needed to exist in addition to every dollar we can get for NIL.

The mandatory student fee is comprehensive and includes funding for operations and facilities to support student academic life and student activities. For one person...the annual amount for full-time enrollment is $3,924. $811 of this goes towards Athletics.
Athletics - Supports athletic scholarships, athletic program operations, and sponsors intercollegiate sports and recreation. This allows students free access to sporting events.

For anyone interested in program spending. Note this doesn’t include rev share or NIL, but is things like travel, facilities, coaches salaries, etc.
We’re spending about 800k less than vcu and Rhode Island, but are among the top spending mid major public schools in the nation.
That is great to hear, and may be the single most important thing to keep CTS.
How is URI spending that much? Seems like malfeasance at this point.
