Watched a recording of the game after I returned from EBA . The women wasted a good defensive effort in the first half, getting turnovers and out-rebounding the Spiders but couldn't build a lead in the first half, mostly due to poor shooting from 3 and some missed layups. Too bad as Maggie Doogan looked less than mediocre for the first half.

Amaotang had a very good game (17 pts and good defense) and Harris, 1-10 at one point, heated up in the 4th quarter when we were down 15. Cut it to 6, but Richmond pulled away from there.

I'm not sure that our poor shooting was due to Richmond's defense...I'd write it off as just a bad shooting night. If we get an average game from Za, it'd be a different ballgame.
