A10 vs PAC 12 : Triple header in DC and triple header in Portland? I/e like the bb&t classic OR do you think on campus would be better?

I’ve floated an Atlantic vs. Pacific challenge too (or East Coast vs. West Coast is you want to allude to the Hip Hop battle of the 90s).

I do think neutral sites could work but campus sites would probably be a better atmosphere and better attended.

But the thing is, it is really easy to come up with these ideas, it is another to convince all the stakeholders, secure media, and get sponsors to make it actually happen.

While I would love to see this happen, I don’t see Gonzaga and the states (San Diego, Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, etc.) ever going for this. The view of the A10 is that of a top heavy mid major league. Once you get past Dayton, vcu and Mason there isn’t much meat on the bone for the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th place teams in the PAC12 to play

SLU is legit and Saint Joe’s almost always has high-end talent, but yes most of the league is unfortunately stuck in the muddled middle.

No. San Diego State complained loudly about the announced MWC-A10 challenge that never happened because of COVID.

But I will also say in the revenue sharing era, the landscape vis-a-vis those teams you mentioned will change for all of them outside of Gonzaga, because their football programs are going to eat all that revenue up. The A10 could be on the rise over the next 5 years. There are a lot of serious ADs in the A10 looking to commit resources. We will see who has the stronger overall conference by 2030.

GW, with the highest % of returning players + the mix 5 veteran transfers which includes heavy NCAA tournament experience and major scorers is the team to beat this season. vcu has a lot of talent but they still need to adjust a new coach. I would also include Loyola Chicago right there.

I'm not sure about SLU, I dont they.have really improved them selves thru the portal inspite of the retuning pieces.

St. Jos has a alot of talent but I question the new coaching choice

Mason should be in the mix for a double bye.
