Man so much to say.

Mason was down 6 at half, down 11 in the beginning of the second half and went on a 19-0 run. Who the hell does that against ranked teams? We do!!

Baraka Okojie. Took over in the second half. Balled out.

Big boy rebounds at the end by Ronny and Jared. We made most free throws, we gave Holmes our all, and didn’t make it easy for Dayton.

What a f**king win. We deserved that. I just hope this is the beginning. This season has been amazing in so many ways and a ton of fun. Best of all we aren’t done yet nor are we where we want to be.

Let’s f**king go and keep this rolling!

ESPN says this is the first regular season win vs an AP Too 25 team - is that correct??

Baraka Okojie. Can't praise him enough.... what a game. Kid is something special. Put our team on his back and wouldn't back down.

Had 6 Dayton Fans next to me.... 2 dads and 4 kids..... one 9/10 year old kid kept yelling mason sucks a** most of 1st half and the Dad seemed to encourage it. Shut him up 2nd half and then they all left right before buzzer. Hysterical.

BIGGEST WIN OF THE SEASON
I was almost PISSED OFF ROYALLY when I saw a line of security form in front of the students just before the final buzzer. I thought for a minute that they would not let the students rush the court. Then I realized that security was doing it right. The students had to move down the stairs to enter the the court rather than jumping seats. Good job security! I recall in big games of the past, students were held back from rushing the court. I'm SUPER HAPPY that administration allowed it tonight. Again, good job security!

Excuse my bad loss for the conference comment earlier in the week. Let's Go Mason. Definitely a good watch. I am scared to hope again.

At the tail end of the 19-0 run right now and the best part of it was just how the team was celebrating good defensive plays. Good to see them taking pride in playing tough defense.

Would love to see this version of Mason for 40 minutes.

George Mason Basketball Makes Program History With Upset Win

George Mason's basketball program has accomplished a lot over the years, including a Final Four appearance in 2006.
The Patriots haven't been back to the tournament since 2011, but they did something they've never done before on Wednesday night.
According to ESPN's Jeff Borzello, George Mason's win over Dayton on Wednesday was their first home win over a ranked opponent in program history.

GMU defeated the No. 16-ranked Flyers by a score of 71-67 inside the EagleBank Arena in Fairfax to improve to 18-8 on the season.
George Mason is in its first year with a new staff on the basketball program, including head coach Tony Skinn.

Skinn, a former George Mason player, was on the team for the 2006 Final Four run.
He famously hit a game-winning shot for the Patriots during a nationally televised game that season, earning the team a spot in the Top 25 the following week.

George Mason's win over Dayton on Wednesday is the biggest win the program has had since defeating UConn in the 2006 Elite Eight.

Mason went on a 19-0 run in the second half to take down Dayton for their third win in a row. The team has five games left in the regular season before they head to the Atlantic 10 tournament.

The Patriots will likely need to win that tournament to make it back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2011.
After defeating a Dayton team that's near the top of the conference, they should head into the A10 tournament with a newfound sense of confidence.
