    Crazy to think those first 4 years were offset by Otis who was one of the best FT shooters in the nation and we still weren't even that high.

    In 18-19 Otis shot 87.3 and Javon shot 90.5. The rest of the team must have been trash.

    I don't want to be too judgmental, but we're talking about a 15-foot uncontested shot that these players have been shooting for many years. Perhaps, it's time to bring in a sports psychologist who can help the players with the mental aspects of the shot.

    St Joe's without Daly (hurt his thumb bad and is in cast) keeping it close to VCU in the first half. Love Dahmir Bishop's game for St Joe's. Refs are calling a lot of fouls so far as well which might be why this is close. VCU looks ALOT better than St Joe's

    St Joe's switches to zone and VCU's 11th man Brown-Jones immediately goes into the middle of it and they pass 3 total times for a made 3 and all of a sudden the zone is broken. why can't our starters do the same?

    I think you're supposed to pass/hand off the ball well outside the perimeter to combat a zone defense. When the shot clock is under 10, you dribble into traffic from the top of the key as the defense collapses on you and throw up a wild shot or turn the ball over on a bad pass.
